Referral Scheme FAQs
Who can use the scheme?
To join this Referral Scheme, you must be an existing customer who has previously purchased a product(s) and thus has an account
OR you can purchase a product(s) and create an account.
How does the Referral Scheme work?
Here’s how you can refer your friends or family to earn credit to spend on your next purchase:
1. Head to the Referral Scheme page here and sign in to your account. Alternatively, select ‘My Account’ on the top menu of the website and login with your username (or email address) and password.
2. Click on any of the social media icons to share your unique 20% off code with your friends or share via email.
3. Once your friend(s) has completed their order, we will send you an email to let you know that your credit (£10 per referral*) is in your account and ready to be spent.
How can I see how many friends I have referred and how much credit I have?
When you login to your account, click on the ‘Refer a friend’ tab which will display both the number of people you have referred and the amount of credit you have earned through the referral scheme.
How long does it take to receive my reward for a friend referral?
Rewards will be received within 2 days after the despatch date of your friend’s order.
When will my awarded credit expire?
All rewarded credits that you receive will expire after 12 months.
How long does the 20% discount link/code last when it’s sent to a friend?
30 days. Once someone clicks on the friend’s link they have 30 days before it expires.
Is there a minimum purchase amount for your friend to get the 20% discount?
There is no minimum amount.
Will I receive any emails regarding the referral scheme?
When you are awarded your credit, you will receive an email that will advise you how much credit you have earned.
Will I still get credit if my friend signs up using a different email address?
As long as your friend signs up for an account with either the referral link or your unique code, you’ll earn a referral credit of £10 to spend on site*. The email address your friend used to sign up doesn’t need to be the same as the email address to which you sent the referral invitation.
If your friends receive multiple referrals from multiple senders, only the sender of the referral link used when your friend makes an order will earn credit.
Can my friend still take advantage of the referral scheme if they have shopped with BIOptimizers before?
The referral scheme is only for new customers. However, if they have an account but haven’t shopped with BIOptimizers before, then they will still be able to take advantage of the scheme by using your referral link.
Referral Scheme T&Cs
Subject to the terms set out below, you may earn ‘credit’ for use on this Website by referring a new customer(s) to us through our referral scheme by sharing the referral link and/or referral code we provide to you (the “Referral Scheme”). You are only eligible to participate as a ‘referrer’ in this Referral Scheme if you have previously placed an order on the Website.
A new customer is a natural person who has not previously placed an order with us (a “Referee”). If the Referee has an account on the Website but has not previously placed an order on the Website then they are entitled to participate in the Referral Scheme through the ‘referral link’ only. If the Referee already has an account on the Website then they will be unable to participate in the Referral Scheme using a ‘referral code’ (regardless of whether they have previously placed an order).
If the Referee has clicked through your referral link the discount code will automatically be applied at checkout. If the Referee is using a referral code, the Referee must enter this code at checkout.
For the avoidance of doubt, any credit generated from the Referral Scheme may only be spent on the Website (www.bioptimizers.co.uk) and neither you nor the Referee is entitled to receive any payment of any kind in respect of the credit, the credit is not redeemable for cash. The credit that stands to your Referral Scheme account is not transferable in any way.
You will receive the applicable credit on your account 2 days after despatch of the Referee’s order. If the Referee cancels their order for any reason within 3 days of it being despatched, you will not qualify for any credit. You will receive your credit in the default currency of the Website, pound sterling.
Any credit accrued through the Referral Scheme that has not been used within 12 months from the date of accrual will expire.
The Referee can place an order of any value on the website to get their discount as long as they meet the conditions outlined here.
Subscription products are excluded from the Referral Scheme. If you are participating in the Referral Scheme, you will be unable to participate in any affiliate schemes, cash-back offers and/or any other promotions of this nature.
We may, in our sole discretion, withdraw your credit generated from the Referral Scheme at any time if we believe or suspect that your use of the Referral Scheme is fraudulent, misleading or contrary to these terms.
