Life saving!!. I’ve been taking Masszymes for 5 years now. I started taking them when I was transitioning from vegan to omnivorous and I haven’t stopped since. I go through periods where I stop taking them because I start feeling good and like I don’t need it everyday but the moment I stop taking them for say 1 month I start to feel the relapse in my digestive system. Bloating, gas, inflammation etc. just recently I’ve been struggling with behavioral health issues and I started taking Masszymes again and I tell you within three days my anxiety subsided, my fears were more manageable and was able to detach myself where as usually I’m crippled in fear and depression that I don’t want to do anything it’s bad. Was a good Enzyme until Version 4.0 – BEWARE new ingredient. I’ve used this product since May 2023. It WAS an excellent enzyme combination. Without notice (I used to be a subscriber) they shipped me ‘Version 4.0’ which is a completely different combination of enzymes and other non-enzyme items. No communication.
IT NOW CONTAINS over 2,000 IU of VITAMIN D. A fat-soluble vitamin with limits to how much you can take per day! I already took Vitamin D, and test my blood to achieve a specific level. Now that these enzymes contain vitamin D, I cannot take these anytime throughout the day, as there is a limiting ingredient. Their literature and everything used to say you could take these at meals, inbetween meals, before bed, etc. NOW YOU CAN’T SAFELY.
Don’t get me wrong – I appreciate innovation and continual improvements! But communicate this! And don’t put a limiting ingredient (one you can only take a certain amount of per day) in a product that historically could be take without limit per day.
Customer support told me they ‘switched labs’ which produces this. It doesn’t appear there is a medical expert advising them or who is running the company. It’s beginning to feel more like a marketing company who contracts a lab to make a product and sell it in an online storefront.

why the change? 3.0 is superior. I am disappointed to see the change in formulation. They removed the astrazyme, no longer highlight endo and exo peptidases and now include Vitamin D? I the previous version already included systemic enzymes… if they really want to improve the enzyme and systemic activity, add lumbrokinase. Any who, disappointing, but still produce other products that are great.

Too expensive and ineffective. I don’t like writing negative reviews and I’m sure these may work well for others but I have tried many different brands of full spectrum enzymes and I was eager to try these since I had heard so many podcasts speak highly of them. I was willing to spend the money because I know that with supplements, you get what you pay for. Unfortunately I was not happy with this product. They gave me pretty bad acid reflux (I don’t normally get any GERD) and this happened every time I took them. They also did not help with any of my IBS symptoms in terms of food digestion. Maybe these work for other people, but I will not be purchasing these again.

Be cautious. I have IBS and I was hoping this product will help with digestion. I took capsules for a day and noticed pain in my stomach. The next day I woke up with diarrhoea and had to stay in bed for the whole day, as I had no energy. I stopped taking capsules. Some time later, when I was feeling fine, I have tried them again and a protein rich meal, hoping for a better outcome. Unfortunately, the same effect: stomach pains, diarrhoea, fatigue and headache. Maybe, these supplements are okay for healthy people, but they didn’t work for me.

Cured My Migraines. I saw BiOptimizers running a sale on Masszymes so I decided to try them out because I heard good things about the company BiOptimizers on The Human Upgrade Podcast, formerly the Bulletproof Podcast. Not long after I started to take the Masszymes I had a very bizarre bowel movement. I didn’t think much of it because I just thought it was clearing some junk out of my system. Fast forward a few months later I was with my wife and her best friend at a restaurants where her friend got a side of pickled jalapeños. I really love jalapeños, but when ever I have any food with vinegar, which vinegar is probably in a quarter of our food, I would have a full blown migraine within 24 hours guaranteed, but I had this ‘gut’ feeling that I could eat the pickled jalapeños. So I asked her friend if I could have the rest of her pickled jalapeños of which she had a lot. She said yes and I dumped them onto my food. The next day I had no migraine!!! So my wife bought me a jar of jalapeños soaked in vinegar. I ate half of them straight out of jar in on sitting. The next day I had no migraine!! Ever since then vinegar as never caused me to have another migraine!! Which is huge because before I knew vinegar caused me to get migraines, I had at least one migraine a week for nearly 3 years! There were some weeks I would wake up with a low grade migraine every morning. My theory is that I over did it with the vinegar for too many years and created an over reaction to it in my gut. My favorite foods have lots of vinegar and I would eat them nearly everyday: balsamic and vinegar salad dressing, hot sauce that had vinegar, salsa that had vinegar, sea salt and vinegar chips, and I was a connoisseur of condiments which almost all have vinegar. I have backed off on the vinegar even though I can consume it without any migraines, and I still take a bottle of Masszymes a couple times a year as maintenance. Thank you BiOptimizers so much for making Masszymes. It has literally changed my life and given me back probably 50 days a year!!

Masszymes Are Massively Beneficial. I’ve never used enzymes of any sort before. I had know idea how bad eating too much protein is. I always feel healthy, though I’m not perfect in my sugar gluten addiction. But I have noticed a little less inflammation than usual. I’m popping a couple while I fast in the mornings as well as 5 per meal. Mr. Chek says should take at least 6 per meal. I always use less then recommended doses. Sorry I’m not more helpful in advising others. I take way too many things and not in full quantities to be able to tell if things are working or not. Super Male Vitality from Infowars does work. I heard about this on. I heard about this on an episode of the intermittent fasting podcast- there was an interview with Wade. I learned so much!! I ordered it and Apex because I struggle with energy. I am 55 years old, work full time and taking the last 3 classes to be accepted in the RN program. I took the Masszymes 1 upon waking (4:30am) then just before leaving to work 2 apex at noon I’m fasting but take 1 masszyme. Dinner I take 3 about 15 minutes before eating. I feel so good now!!! By day 3 the bloated belly went down, after a week I started losing weight again!! After two weeks I’m actually going to bathroom like a normal person! I have been using quality supplements for years – and I have not noticed a difference in using the BiOptimizer supplements from what I’ve used in the past.
One thing that diminished my enthusiasm to purchase again was the way that subscriptions were added to my original order without me noticing. Yes – I accepted ‘up sells’ but I didn’t see that they were automatically designated as subscriptions and that I would have had to DE-select to make them a one-time purchase.
The 2nd disappointment: my cost was increased by a customs cost that was added after my purchase. I’m proud to order from a company created by Canadians, but the products are shipped out of the US. (I understand that most internet purchases are in USD – and I get it that you probably have biz advantages in the US – it’s one of the unfortunate situations with how Canada treats our entrepreneurs.)

Very expensive but the best Enzymes on the market!. I have used alot of different digestive enzymes with mixed results. Without digestive enzymes i was suffering from poor digestion and headaches. Then I came across Masszymes which provided the best results. I would give these 5 stars but these are very expensive if like me one needs to use these continuously. There should at least be a subscription service which provides a discount. This is general practice these days. Purchasing a 250 capsule container doesn’t provide much discount at all. I request Biooptimisers to look into this. All in all these enzymes are the best on the market but very costly.

Was excited to try them but had awful reaction.. I was so excited to try these enzymes. I took 2 on opening my window at 4pm and took an additional 1 with my evening meal at 6pm. Everything was fine and I felt great. When I woke up the next morning I had nausea and a brain splitting headache…it must have been a migraine? I stayed in bed and rested all day and took another pill when I opened my window and woke up that next night with horrible sickness and headache again. Must have been just an adverse reaction for me.
